About Celebrity Software
Celebrity Software is a custom software development house. Based in Durban South Africa, we have been developing software solutions since 1993. Our primary focus is in the development of complete integrated solutions for the container shipping industry. We have a special focus in liner ships agency solutions with a product called LinerSuite, but we have also developed specific tailored solutions within the container logistics, terminal & depot industry.
Most of our solutions are developed using software development tools produced by Unify Corporation in the USA. Celebrity Software is a distributor of Unify Corporations software products in South Africa. We have specific expertise in Unify's Java web application development tool known as NXJ Developer.
LinerSuite
A full featured, web based, ships agency software package.
LinerSuite is a complete and fully integrated software package for the liner ships agency industry. The package incorporates all modules that would be required to run a ships agency. The main modules include Manifest and Documentation, Import functions, Voyage Bookings, Export functions, Container Management, Client Management, General Ledger (Accounting), Reporting and Statistics.
LinerSuite is flexible and customized to meet your liner & ships agency business requirements. We are able to uniquely tailor the system to your specification on a continual basis.

It encompasses all aspects of ships agency business from import manifest and export booking right the way through to general ledger and financial statements. The system is tailored to each agency's requirements so that the agency can effectively manage its own operations and the requirements of its principals. The system is tightly integrated in a central database with many controls and security features.
